  1. Collection of personal information

In general, your personal data is not automatically saved when you browse the Wedely.com website, however, during your visit, a banner appears at the bottom of the screen informing you of the use of cookies when browsing the site. It is up to you to choose between accepting or rejecting the deposit of cookies depending on the purpose pursued by each category of cookies. Some cookies do not collect personal data, but simply offer a better browsing experience.

In some cases, especially when you wish to leave a message on the Website, you will be asked to provide your name(s), first name(s) and email address (hereinafter referred to as your “Personal Data”). By providing this information, you expressly agree that your data will be processed by Wamma for the purposes indicated in section 2 below. If there are other purposes other than those indicated in point 2, they will be communicated at the end of each form.

Wamma may process your Personal Data for the following purposes:

(a) (a) provide you with the information or services you have requested (including sending a commercial offer, notifications or a response to a contact request);

(b) sending the newsletter;

(c) collect information that allows us to improve our site, our products and services (in particular through cookies);

(d) contact you to inform you about various Wamma events, including product and service updates and customer support;

(e) Registration Information: When you create a Wamma account, register or fill out forms on the Services, we collect information about you, including your name, address, telephone number, email address and the password you create (encrypted). ;

(f) Transaction information: Payment operations are outsourced to our payment processors and we do not store your credit card information on our systems. We also collect delivery details (for example, your physical address) to manage each order;

(g) Feedback: When you post messages and reviews of the Services or contact us, for example with a question, problem or comment, we collect information about you, including your name and the content of your inquiry. If you contact our customer service teams, we will record and store a record of your conversation for quality and training purposes and to assist in the resolution of your queries;

Registration information

The registration information you provide when you create a Wamma account allows us to give you access to the Services and provide them to you under our Terms. We also use this information to authenticate your access to the Services, to contact you for your feedback, and to notify you of important changes or updates to our Services.

Transaction information

Your transaction information (such as the foods you add to your basket) allows us to process your order and send you an accurate invoice. It also helps us and any Restaurant you order with contacting you when necessary. Wamma may contact you by email, phone or SMS to give you status updates or other information or to resolve problems with your account or order. A Restaurant may contact you via telephone or SMS to provide you with status updates or other information related to your Order. When you pay for your Order with a mobile payment service provider or digital wallet, we will send you transaction information via confirmation emails or SMS to the email address or telephone number registered with that service provider (as this is required by those providers).

Some Restaurants on our platform use our third-party delivery companies; these companies may use your information to provide you with status updates on the delivery of your Order. We will also analyze information about completed transactions and successfully delivered orders on the basis of matching data or statistical analysis so that we can manage, support, improve and develop our business and Services. Our analytics also help us detect and prevent fraud or other illegal activities or acts prohibited by our Terms or any policies applicable to the Services.

Comments and opinions

If you give us feedback, we will use it to respond to your questions or queries, to provide customer support, and to resolve any problems with your Orders or the Services. We will publish reviews you submit to us about Restaurants on our platform and our Services generally, and we will also analyze your feedback to improve and develop our Services and to improve your experience.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you access our Services, we may automatically collect certain information from your device, such as your IP address, MAC address, or device ID. In some countries, including Europe, this information may be considered personal information under applicable data protection laws.

Activity information

We analyze your shopping habits and how you interact with our Services so we can suggest food options from new restaurants we think you might like to try. We allow you to access your order history so you can easily reorder with your favorite restaurants. We may also collect information about your interaction with our emails and other forms of communication.

Like many websites and online services, we use cookies and other technologies to keep a record of your interaction with our Services. Your personal data will be sent to some third parties, the restaurant where you buy the food will only see the order details and the order number. The restaurant will not receive your name or address.

The driver will have access to your name, address, telephone number and details of your order.

Your data may be stored, but encrypted, on our cloud servers.

Some data, such as your IP address, may be collected for statistical and commercial (advertising) purposes by our partners, such as Google or Meta (Facebook), both located outside the EU/EEA. Where your personal data is transferred (including in the case of remote access) to a country outside the EU/EEA that is not subject to an adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards are put in place in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses adopted and approved by the European Commission.

Your Personal Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which we obtained it. The retention period will depend on various factors, such as the duration of the contract concluded with you, fraud prevention reasons or legal requirements imposed on us.

Log files collected during interactions with the Wamma application or the website are destroyed after 12 months.

The Personal Data that we collect through the contact forms available on our website will not be kept for more than 3 years from the last contact with Wamma.

Whenever we process your Personal Data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to unsubscribe from our newsletter and withdraw your consent to marketing at any time by contacting us as indicated below or by clicking on the link to unsubscribe from email communication from us (e.g. Wamma events, service and product updates, etc.). Please note that the withdrawal of your consent does not affect the legality of the processing of Personal Data based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.

After the applicable retention period, we will securely destroy your Personal Data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

  1. Right of opposition, withdrawal and transfer

You have the right to object, delete your Personal Data and withdraw your consent. You may also request a transfer of your Personal Data.

The right of opposition is the possibility offered to Internet users to refuse to have their personal data used for certain purposes mentioned during collection. You may object to the processing of your personal information if we have a legitimate interest (or a third party’s interest) in doing so and there is a valid reason to object to the data processing. You also have the right to object if we process your personal information for direct marketing purposes.

We may request the information from you to help us confirm your identity and to ensure that you respect your right to access this information (or for the enforcement of any other of your rights).
